26-year-old man arrested in possession of 130 bags of heroin

After weeks of surveillance, Westchester county police arrested Michael Hall, 26, on felony drug charges. As reported by Iohud, Hall was found with 130 bags of heroin—each with a $10-20 street value—in his possession at the time of his arrest.

Formally charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell and fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, Hall now faces two felony charges in Westchester county.

As designated by the federal government, Westchester is considered to be an area with high-intensity drug trafficking. This comes as no surprise in a county that has seen a substantial spike in heroin-related overdoses and arrests in the past few years.
